How Echo7 keeps you in control

Security is built into how Echo7 answers, acts and manages access.

Ask our assistant about roles, permissions, data storage or on-premises hosting.

01

Answers from your content

Every answer is grounded in your approved sources, not the open internet – and you can lock or remove content at any time.

02

Separate data per organisation

Echo7 is multi-tenant by design. Each organisation only sees its own assistants, documents and data.

03

Access you decide

Roles and detailed permissions control who can read, edit, add, delete or administer each area.

04

Safe automation

Governed workflows, read-only database queries and human escalation keep automated actions under control.

Security features built in

Practical controls you can configure from the administration area – no specialist setup required.

Roles and permissions

Administrator, reseller, manager and user roles, with read, write, delete, add and admin rights set per area.

Two-factor authentication

Security codes by SMS or WhatsApp, email or an authenticator app, with trusted devices and automatic lockout after failed logins.

IP and network restrictions

Limit an assistant to specific IP addresses or networks when it should only be used internally.

Rate limits

Set a maximum number of questions per minute to prevent abuse and unexpected credit use.

Protected credentials

Secrets are stored as protected parameters, and OAuth 2.1 tokens are held per assistant – never written into agents.

Full traceability

Conversation logs, daily conversation emails, training and activity dates show exactly what happened and when.

Cloud, on-premises or white label – your choice

Cloud gets you started fast, with no servers to manage, automatic updates and scalability based on usage. On-premises runs Echo7 inside your own infrastructure for maximum control over data, access policies, backups and integration with internal systems.

Partners can resell Echo7 or offer it under their own brand as a white-label solution, managing each customer as a separate organisation. Talk to us about the right option for your security, compliance and partnership requirements.

Security and deployment questions

Didn’t find your answer? Ask our assistant – it’s trained on everything on this site.

01

Does Echo7 train on the public internet?

No. Your assistant answers from the sources you give it – documents, web pages, cloud folders and databases – and you control what’s included.

02

What's the difference between cloud and on-premises?

In the cloud, Echo7 runs on managed infrastructure: it’s quick to start, updates are automatic and it scales with use. On-premises, Echo7 runs on your own servers or a dedicated environment, giving you more control over data location, access policies, backups and integration with internal systems.

03

What do I need to run Echo7 on-premises?

A dedicated server or virtual machine with at least 8 CPU cores, 16 GB RAM, 80 GB SSD or NVMe storage and an NVIDIA GPU compatible with CUDA 12.8. Requirements vary with users, document volumes and integrations.

04

Can we resell Echo7 or offer it under our own brand?

Yes. Echo7 is multi-tenant, so partners can resell it or offer it as a white-label solution under their own brand – managing each customer as a separate organisation with its own assistants, data, licences and limits. Learn about partnering with Echo7.

05

How are database queries kept safe?

Database connectors expose only the tables and fields you choose, and security rules can enforce read-only queries, tenant filters and row limits. Your own application runs the query with its own permissions.
